How to find a Psychologist

Locating an experienced psychologist who is familiar with Surrogacy and Egg Donation isn't as hard as it sounds. The best way to approach this search is first to talk with your Reproductive Endocrinologist or the clinic staff and see who they recommend. Often times it is required for all parties to have one or more sessions with a trained psychologist in order to simply understand the emotional and mental process of becoming an Egg Donor or Surrogate. It is very important that the Intended Parents also comprehend what the expectations are and what is involved for their chosen donor/surrogate. Another plus is having a psychologist who is familiar with your unique situation be available if any conflicts arise during the process.
